بَابُ أَنَّ دِيَةَ الْمَقْتُولِ لِجَمِيعِ وَرَتَيْهِ، وَمَا جَاءَ فِي ميرَاتِ الْحَمْلِ بَعْدَ وَضْعِهِ إِنِ اسْتَهَلَّChapter: That the blood money of the murdered belongs to all his heirs, and what has been reported regarding the inheritance of a fetus if it cries after birth

عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى أَنَّ الْعَقْلَ مِيرَاثٌ بَيْنَ وَرَثَةِ الْقَتِيلِ عَلَى فَرَائِضِهِمْ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) decreed that the blood money (diyah) will be distributed among the heirs of the murdered person in proportion to their respective shares.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Just as the inheritance of the deceased is distributed among his heirs according to their respective shares, in the same manner, the blood money (diyah) of the murdered person is distributed among his heirs.
