(Second chain) Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The blood money will be distributed among the male agnates, and the wife will not inherit any share from her husband's blood money. However, when Sayyiduna Dahiak bin Sufyan Kalabi (may Allah be pleased with him) informed him that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had sent me a written order that I should make the wife of Ashyam Dhibabi an heir to his blood money, then Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) retracted his opinion.
