It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I have no wealth, but there is an orphan under my guardianship, so can I take from his wealth? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You may eat from your orphan’s wealth, but do not be extravagant in it, nor wasteful, nor one who accumulates wealth, nor one who saves your own wealth. Or he said: nor one who saves your own wealth through his wealth.
