Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no ‘Umra and no Ruqba, and whoever is given something as ‘Umra or Ruqba, it will belong to him for his life and death. Ibn Bakr said in his hadith: Ata said that Ruqba will also become his. Abdur Razzaq said: From my side and from your side (i.e., if I die before you, then this thing is yours, and if you die before me, then it is mine).
