قبول رَسُولِ اللهِ صلَّى اللهُ عَليهِ وسَلمَ الْهَدِيَّةَ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ حَقِيرَة لا الصَّدَقَةَ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ عَظِيمَةٌAcceptance by the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) of a gift even if insignificant, but not charity even if great
Hadith 6271

عَنْ جُوَيْرِيَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَقَالَ هَلْ مِنْ طَعَامٍ قُلْتُ لَا إِلَّا عَظْمًا أُعْطِيَتْهُ مَوْلَاةٌ لَنَا مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَرِّبِيهِ فَقَدْ بَلَغَتْ مَحِلَّهَا
It is narrated from Sayyida Juwayriya bint Harith (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me one day and said: Is there any food? I said: No, there is nothing, except for that (meaty) bone which was given in charity to our slave-girl. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Bring it, bring it near to me, charity has reached its place.
