It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that a rabbit ran and people chased after it. I was the first person to reach it, so I caught it and brought it to Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him). He ordered, so it was slaughtered. Then I roasted it, then he took its hind half and said: Take this to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). So I brought it to him and said: Indeed, Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) has sent this hind part of the rabbit to you. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted it from me.
