Abu Salamah bin Abdur Rahman came to Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) while he was disputing with someone over a piece of land. Lady Aisha said: O Abu Salamah! Be cautious regarding matters of land, for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever seizes a span of land unjustly, a collar from seven earths will be placed around his neck.
