Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Humayd Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is not lawful for a man to take his brother's wealth unjustly. The reason for this command is that Allah Almighty has declared the wealth of one Muslim unlawful for another Muslim. Sayyiduna Abu Humayd Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates another tradition that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is not lawful for a man to take his brother's staff without his consent. The reason for this statement is that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) strictly declared the wealth of a Muslim unlawful for another Muslim.
