Narrated from Sayyiduna Safwan bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) borrowed some armors from me on the day of Hunayn. I said: O Muhammad! Will they be seized? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No, rather it is a loan for which a guarantee is given. It happened that some of the armors were lost, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered to pay their guarantee, but I (Safwan) said: O Messenger of Allah! These days I am inclined towards Islam (so how can I take this compensation now).
