Hadith 6152

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "O Messenger of Allah! What is the right of camels?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Their right is that their milk should be milked at the watering places and given to the needy, their vessel should be lent, the stud camel should be given for mating, a she-camel should be given as a gift for drinking milk, and camels should be given for riding in the way of Allah Almighty."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In various ahadith, encouragement has been given to lend things as a loan (ariyyah). From this blessed hadith, it is established that, apart from zakat, there are other rights in wealth. In this hadith, only the rights of camels are mentioned; from these, the rights of other things can also be inferred.
