Narrated from Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I taught some people from among the Ahl al-Suffah writing and the Holy Qur'an. One of them gave me a bow as a gift. I thought to myself that this is not wealth for me, rather I will use it to shoot arrows in the path of Allah Almighty. So I asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about this. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If you like the idea of a collar of fire being placed around your neck in exchange for it, then accept it.
