Hadith 6141

Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Shibl (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Recite the Qur'an and do not make it a means of livelihood, nor seek abundance of wealth through it. Do not distance yourselves from its recitation, nor fall into exaggeration regarding it.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The meaning of the last two sentences is that moderation should be adopted regarding the Noble Qur’an, and excess and negligence should be avoided. It should not happen that a person becomes distant from its recitation, nor is it correct that a person, in exaggeration, begins to transgress its limits.
