It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) had cupping done and he would not withhold anyone’s due (i.e., he would give him his wage).

Benefits: … From all these narrations, it is understood that it is permissible to give a wage to the one who performs cupping (hijama), but it is disliked (makruh). In those narrations where its earnings have been called “khabeeth” (impure), what is meant is not that it is haram (forbidden), but rather that it is makruh (disliked), because it is not a good profession.
