(الْفَصْلُ الثَّانِي فِي مِقْدَارِ مَاءِ الْوُضُوءِ وَالْغُسْلِThe Second Section on the Amount of Water for Ablution and Ghusl
Hadith 612

وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ بِإِنَاءٍ يَكُونُ رِطْلَيْنِ وَيَغْتَسِلُ بِالصَّاعِ
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would perform ablution with a vessel that contained two ratl of water, and he would perform ghusl with one sa’ of water.
