Hadith 6101

عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ مَعَهُ بِهَدْيِهِ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ بِلُحُومِهَا وَجُلُودِهَا وَأَجِلَّتِهَا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him with sacrificial animals and instructed him to give their meat, skins, and coverings in charity.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Agency (wakalah) is permissible in every lawful matter; several ahadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam indicate its permissibility.
