(Second chain) A similar hadith is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), except that in it: And he was asked about the orphan, when will his orphanhood end? He said: When he reaches puberty and goodness is perceived from him.

Benefits: … Without any doubt, the intelligent people of society can easily decide whether a certain child, after reaching puberty, possesses the capability and competence to manage wealth and property or not. It has been observed that some children, even before reaching puberty, are extremely intelligent and have a strong grasp over matters, while some, even after becoming adults, remain unintelligent and lacking foresight. In any case, this matter is understandable and can be easily comprehended.
