Narrated by Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), there was a man who used to trade, but he had some weakness in his intellect. Therefore, his family members came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Please put a restriction on this man, because he makes deals and his intellect is weak (so he suffers losses)." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called him and forbade him from trading, but he said, "O Messenger of Allah! I cannot live without trading." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If you cannot give up this buying and selling, then when you make a deal, say: 'Here you are, sir, and give (in return),' but let there be no deception."
