Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever dies in a state that he is in debt (let him know that) there will be no dinar or dirham there, rather, there will be an exchange of good deeds and bad deeds.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … On the Day of Resurrection, the creditor will be satisfied either by taking the good deeds of the debtor or by placing his own bad deeds into the debtor’s account, while at that station there will be the greatest need for an abundance of good deeds and a reduction of bad deeds.
