عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ تُسْتَجَابَ دَعْوَتُهُ وَأَنْ تُكْشَفَ كُرْبَتُهُ فَلْيُفَرِّجْ عَنْ مُعْسِرٍ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever wishes that his supplication be accepted and his affliction be removed, then he should make things easy for the debtor in difficulty regarding his debt.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … By ease is meant that he forgives all or part of the debt, or grants him some respite for a few days, or assists the debtor in its repayment.
