Hadith 5999

عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ
Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) has also narrated a similar tradition.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The meaning of these three ahadith is that when the sale of an animal in exchange for another animal is deferred (i.e., on credit) from both sides, then it is prohibited. If it is deferred from only one side, or if more animals are being given in exchange for one animal, then both these situations are permissible, as is evident from the following two ahadith.
