بَابٌ مَا جَاءَ فِي فَضْلِ الْوُضُوءِ وَالصَّلَاةِ عَقِبَهُChapter on What Has Been Reported Regarding the Virtue of Ablution and Prayer Thereafter
Hadith 596

وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: ((مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَصَلَّى غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الصَّلَاةِ الْأُخْرَى حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَهَا))
Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) also narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ablution and performs it well, then begins the prayer and offers it, the sins committed between this prayer and the next prayer he offers are forgiven."
