بَاب مَا جَاءَ فِي عُهْدَةِ الرَّقِيقِ وَأَنَّ الكَسْبَ الْحَادِثَ لا يمنعُ الرَّدْ بِالْعَيْبِChapter: What has been reported regarding the guarantee of slaves and that new earnings do not prevent return due to defect
Hadith 5940

عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا عُهْدَةَ بَعْدَ أَرْبَعٍ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: After four days, there is no responsibility (regarding the slave).
