Hadith 5902

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) forbade that a townsman should sell goods on behalf of a villager, or that people should practice Najsh (artificially inflating prices).

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Najsh sale: This refers to a person increasing the price of a transaction while he himself does not intend to purchase it, but rather wishes to entrap someone else in it. This is nothing but a deception. Most of the types mentioned in this chapter have already been explained in detail previously.
