Sayyiduna Hakim bin Hizam (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! A man demands from me to sell him something which I do not possess. (If I make a deal with him and then) buy it from the market and deliver it to him?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not make a deal for something which is not in your possession.
