Hadith 5876

Narrated by Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If two guardians marry off a woman, then she will be according to the first marriage. And if a person sells an item to two men, then it will belong to the first buyer.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … When a person sells an item to another person, it leaves his ownership and his authority over it ends. Therefore, if that person sells the same item to another person, this transaction will be considered invalid and ineffective, and the item will belong to the person to whom it was sold in the first transaction.
