It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) forbade the trade of the helpless, fraudulent trade, and the sale of dates before they ripen.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … There are two forms of transactions by those in distress: (1) If a person is compelled to buy or sell something, this sale will be invalid (fasid) and will not be concluded. (2) If a person is forced to sell due to a debt or guarantee, for example, the creditor says to the debtor, “Sell me such-and-such item in exchange for the debt you owe me,” in this case, the will of the creditor will prevail and the debtor will have to bear a loss.
