It is narrated from Sayyiduna Iyas bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: Do not sell water in excess of your need, because the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the selling of water. People have even started selling the water of the river Euphrates.
