Narrated by Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: When the verses related to usury at the end of Surah Al-Baqarah were revealed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the mosque and declared the buying and selling of alcohol forbidden.
