بَابُ مَنْ بَاعَ دَارًا أَوْ عِقَارًا فَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ ثَمَنَهَا فِي مِثْلِهَاChapter: One who sells a house or property and does not invest its price in something similar
Hadith 5797

عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ أَخِي عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ بَاعَ دَارًا أَوْ عِقَارًا فَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ ثَمَنَهَا فِي مِثْلِهِ كَانَ قَمِنًا أَنْ لَا يُبَارَكَ لَهُ فِيهِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Saeed bin Harith, the brother of Sayyiduna Amr bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with them), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever sells his house or land and does not spend its price on something of the same kind, then he is deserving that there should be no blessing for him in that transaction.
