عَنْ خَلَّادِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ زَرَعَ زَرْعًا فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ الطَّيْرُ أَوِ الْعَافِيَةُ كَانَ لَهُ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ
Khalad bin Sa’ib narrates from his father that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever cultivates a crop, then any bird or any creature seeking sustenance eats from it, it is a charity for him.
