عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ جَعَلْتُ صَلَاتِي كُلَّهَا عَلَيْكَ قَالَ إِذَنْ يَكْفِيكَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى مَا أَهَمَّكَ مِنْ دُنْيَاكَ وَآخِرَتِكَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man said: O Messenger of Allah! Tell me about this: if I devote my supplication time to sending blessings upon you, then? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then Allah, the Exalted, will suffice you in every matter that grieves you in the affairs of this world and the Hereafter.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … By sending blessings and peace (salat and salam) upon the Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), one attains goodness and well-being in this world and the Hereafter, and every kind of distress from both worlds is removed.
