Hadith 5717

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَلَائِكَةً سَيَّاحِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ يُبَلِّغُونِي مِنْ أُمَّتِي السَّلَامَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Verily, some angels of Allah Almighty roam about on the earth; they convey to me the greetings (salaam) from my Ummah.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In this, there is mention of the honor and veneration of the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, that Allah Ta’ala has appointed certain angels to convey salutations and peace (salat and salam) to him sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
