Hadith 5707

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That person is a miser in whose presence my mention is made, but he does not send blessings upon me.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Such a person, by not sending blessings (salat) upon the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, acts with miserliness regarding the right of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and also acts with miserliness regarding his own self, because his own self becomes deprived of the mercies that descend as a result of sending blessings (salat).
