It is narrated from Furwah bin Nawfal, he says: I said to Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): Tell me about the supplication of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), perhaps I may also call upon Allah with it and Allah may benefit me. She said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to frequently make this supplication: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not done." In another narration, the words are: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite this supplication: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the evil of what my soul has done."
