Hadith 564

It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If I had not feared hardship for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to use the miswak with every prayer, just as they perform ablution."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … From these ahadith it is understood that one should use the miswak (tooth-stick) with every prayer, even if one is not performing ablution (wudu). And if, due to the use of the miswak, blood or the like comes out from the gums, this will not affect the validity of the ablution. Further clarification of this will come ahead.
