Hadith 5628
اُردوEn
عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِي هَاتَيْنِ الْآيَتَيْنِ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَالم اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ إِنَّ فِيهِمَا اسْمَ اللَّهِ الْأَعْظَمَ
It is narrated from Sayyida Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: {اَللّٰہُ لَا اِلٰہَ إِلَّا ہُوَ الْحَیُّ الْقَیُّومُ} and {الٓمٓ۔ اَللّٰہُ لَا اِلٰہَ إِلَّا ہُوَ الْحَیُّ الْقَیُّومُ} In these two verses is the mention of Allah Almighty’s Greatest Name (Ism-e-Azam).
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In the narration of the authors of Sunan, this verse is mentioned along with {الٓمٓ۔ اَللّٰہُ لَا اِلٰہَ إِلَّا ہُوَ الْحَیُّ الْقَیُّومُ}: {وَاِلٰھُکُمْ اِلٰہٌ وَاحِدٌ لاَ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ھُوَ الرَّحْمٰنُ الرَّحِیْمُ}
