Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When any person makes supplication, he should not say: O Allah! If You will, then do such and such; rather, he should emphasize his desire (and supplicate with insistence), for nothing is difficult or great for Allah Almighty.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The one who supplicates should do so with hope of acceptance and should not let despair of mercy come anywhere near him, because he is calling upon such a Lord who is Generous (Kareem). Allah Ta‘ala even accepted the supplication of the most wicked of creation, Iblis. The statement of Allah Ta‘ala is: {قَالَاَنْظِرْنِیْٓاِلٰییَوْمِیُبْعَثُوْنَ۔قَالَاِنَّکَمِنَالْمُنْظَرِیْنَ} … He said: Grant me respite until the Day they are resurrected. Allah said: Indeed, you are of those given respite. (Al-A‘raf: 14, 15)
