It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man supplicated: O Allah! Forgive only me and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You have withheld it from many people.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The mercy of Allah Ta'ala is very vast, in fact, it is vaster than everything in the universe. What is required is that a person should supplicate (make du'a) for himself and for his Muslim brothers, and should not supplicate against anyone (i.e., make bad du'a for anyone).
