Hadith 5587

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أَكْرَمَ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنَ الدُّعَاءِ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is nothing more honorable in the sight of Allah Almighty than supplication (du'a).

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Through supplication (du‘a), the perfect power of Allah Ta‘ala and the servant’s weakness and humility are manifested. Through supplication, the servant expresses that the One who gives is Allah Ta‘ala alone; he himself is merely the one who asks and requests.
