Narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever among the Muslims leaves his house with the intention of traveling or for any other purpose, and at the time of leaving recites this supplication: BISMILLAH, AMANTU BILLAAH, I’TA SAMTU BILLAAH, TAWAKKALTU ‘ALALLAAH, LA HAWLA WA LA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAAH (In the name of Allah, I have believed in Allah, I have sought refuge with Allah, I have placed my trust in Allah, there is no power to avoid evil and no strength to do good except with Allah’s help)
