Hadith 5555

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) that it was befitting for the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do so, that when he (peace and blessings be upon him) would come to bed at night, he would place his right hand under his right cheek and recite this supplication: "O Allah! In Your name I live and in Your name I die." Then when he (peace and blessings be upon him) would wake up at night, he would recite this supplication: "All praise is for Allah, Who gave us life after causing us to die, and to Him is the return."
