It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abza (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter the morning and evening, he would recite this supplication: "We have entered the morning upon the natural disposition of Islam, upon the word of sincerity, upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and upon the way of our father Ibrahim, upright and a Muslim, and he was not among the polytheists." (We have entered the morning upon the nature of Islam, upon the word of sincerity, upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), upon the way of our father Ibrahim (peace be upon him), who was upright, a Muslim, and was not among the polytheists.)

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … By the "fitrah of Islam" is meant the religion of Islam; by the "word of sincerity" is meant "La ilaha illallah." Hanif (upright) refers to that Muslim who, turning away from all other religions, inclines towards the true religion.
