Hadith 5435

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Renew your faith. Someone asked: O Messenger of Allah! How should we renew our faith? He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Say "La ilaha illallah" frequently.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … This phrase comprises the oneness (tawhid) and divinity (uluhiyyah) of Allah Ta‘ala. A person is honored with Islam through this very phrase; therefore, by bearing this testimony, the sense of Allah Ta‘ala’s divinity and the servant’s servitude is continually refreshed, and the blessing of light (nur) and certainty (yaqin) in the servant is renewed.
