Narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The best remembrance is that which is hidden, and the best provision is that which suffices.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Depending on different individuals and circumstances, silent (khafi) or audible (jahri) remembrance (dhikr) can be considered more virtuous. If there is no danger of showing off (riya) and heedless people are taking a lesson from it, then audible dhikr will be superior. However, if there is suspicion of showing off or it is causing disturbance to those praying, then silent dhikr will be superior. In any case, the virtue and wisdom of silent actions is established and accepted.
