It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the sister of Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) made a vow regarding one of her sons that she would certainly perform Hajj barefoot and without a shawl. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to know of this, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: She should go for Hajj riding and should also wear a shawl, but she should observe fasts.
