بَابُ مَنْ نَذَرَ نَدْرًا مُبَاحًا أَوْ غَيْرَ مَشْرُوعٍ أَوْ لَا يُطِيقُهُ وَكَفَّارَهُ ذَلِكَChapter on Whoever Vows Something Permissible, Not Legislated, or Beyond His Ability, and Its Expiation
Hadith 5374

عَنْهُ أَيْضًا أَنَّ أُخْتَهُ نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَمْشِيَ حَافِيَةً غَيْرَ مُخْتَمِرَةٍ فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَصْنَعُ بِشَقَاءِ أُخْتِكَ شَيْئًا مُرْهَا فَلْتَخْتَمِرْ وَلْتَرْكَبْ وَلْتَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir Juhani, may Allah be pleased with him, that his sister made a vow to walk barefoot and without a shawl. When she asked the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he said: Allah the Exalted does not wish to bring about any hardship for your sister. Tell her to wear her shawl, ride (her mount), and fast for three days.
