It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw an old man who was walking with the support of his two sons. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: What is the matter with this old man? His sons replied: O Messenger of Allah! He had vowed to walk on foot. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O old man! Ride (mount), for surely Allah Almighty is free of need from you and your vow.
