Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In order to establish its greater sanctity, the Noble Prophet’s (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) pulpit was designated specifically, because it is the most honored place. As narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu), the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “The space between my house and my pulpit is a garden from the gardens of Paradise, and my pulpit will be upon my cistern (hawd).” (Sahih al-Bukhari: 7335, Sahih Muslim: 3191)
