Hadith 5324

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْيَمِينُ الْكَاذِبَةُ مُنْفِقَةٌ لِلسِّلْعَةِ مُمْحِقَةٌ لِلْكَسْبِ وَفِي لَفْظٍ لِلْبَرَكَةِ
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A false oath may sell the goods, but it erases the blessing of the earnings.

Benefits: … The person who, while conducting a transaction, commits a major sin and disregards the reverence due to Allah Ta‘ala—what hope should he have regarding the wealth earned from such a transaction? Every person of understanding can decide this for himself.
