Hadith 5281

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The slave who has made a contract of manumission for one hundred uqiyahs and has paid the entire price except for ten uqiyahs, he will remain a slave; and the slave who has made a contract of manumission for one hundred dinars and has paid all the dinars except for ten dinars, he will remain a slave.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In fact, in the narration of Abu Dawud, even the mention of one dirham is found, meaning that if even one dirham from his contract of manumission (kitabah) remains upon the mukatab, then he will still be considered a slave.
